Chase Moore

Originally from Fayette, Alabama, Chase Moore began his academic journey at The University of Alabama, earning a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. While at the university, he was an active member of the Million Dollar Band, serving on the leadership team for three years as a section leader. In addition to marching, Chase performed with all of the university’s bands on various instruments, played with The University of Alabama Trombone Choir, and held the position of treasurer for the University of Alabama Trombone Studio.
Chase continued his education at the Auburn University where he received a Master of Music Education degree. He also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Auburn University Bands and Music Department. Before his time at Auburn, he was the Director of Bands at Duncanville Middle School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. At Duncanville, Chase led the establishment of the school’s first independent band program, successfully doubling enrollment within the program. In addition to his musical leadership, he served as the School Site Technology Leader, conducted professional development for both school and district staff, acted as a Schoology Blended Learning Coach, and mentored new teachers through participation in new teacher panels.
Currently, Chase serves as the Coordinator of Technology and Innovation for Marietta City School District, where he continues to integrate his expertise in both education and technology. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Alabama Winds, serving as Webmaster.
